Group Six: Super Crab Paradise, Day One

Student Blogger Post!

(The top picture shows the crabitat as we left it on Monday afternoon. The bottom picture shows the crabitat as we found it on Tuesday morning.)

When I came into school this morning, I saw Ranger was in my crabitat, so I put it on my data sheet. Then I looked in the tub next to me: it had Home Run in it, so I wrote it on my data sheet. After I found these two crabs, I was looking for Mr. Crabs but I couldn't find him. The I looked under Group 5's hide and there was Mr. Crabs! I recorded it. In my crabitat, the food was wet and puffed up. Also, they knocked over our hide a little bit. Changes that my group needs to make are to rinse off our food shell, get new water, and put the hide right side up. The last thing we need to do is move our other hide back over. When I come into class tomorrow, I think Ranger and Home Run will come to Group 6's crabitat because there are two big hides, water, and food. Also, our crabitat has lots of space for them to roam. I believe our hide is attractive because there are good hiding spaces. That's what I predict will happen tomorrow.
